It's been a while since I posted a real diary entry. I miss all of you. I can honestly say that I have had no unpleasant interactions on the Diner. I will now proceed to say random things that have nothing to do with one-another.First, my bid to move back to Chicago early has backfired. Although it is sad for me to still be apart from Cinnamongirl, I feel that I can earn some money to pay back my student loans to get myself into art school where I belong.
I'd like to make a shout out to Mercurymouth, to thank her for her support. Also, to wish her the best on her film.
To the "Double-P-Meister," Pedro, I'd like to send you the chess set I have for you, so send me an email with your address. I promise, no more pipe bombs. I've been keeping my distance since the restraining order, haven't I? Okay, I jest too much. You can just call me Hernandork from now on.
PS. If anyone hasn't been to the Ice Cream chain "Cold Stone Creamery" you're missing out on quite possibly the best ice cream ever. You'll never be able to eat anything similar ever again. Frozen custard, frozen yogurt, Baskin Robbins -- that stuff is all junk to me now. The flavors are stuff like Vanilla bean, cake batter, orange dream, mint, sweet cream, coffee, butter pecan, raspberry, strawberry, chocolate, banana, and cheesecake. The flavors are so rich and dreamy/creamy. Then they can add any ingredients you want. They have every candy bar under the sun, all manner of fruit pie fillings, every kind of nut, both white and milk chocolate chips, every kind of topping from coconut to graham cracker pie crust to fudge and caramel. Heck, even sponge cake and brownie can be mixed in. The possibilities are endless. They have flavor ideas there, but you are encouraged to concoct your own. Instead of blending them, they use two metal paddles and squish it together by hand, to ensure even mixing. It's certainly NOT low in fat, but as an occasional treat Cold Stone Creamery rocks.
Unfortunately, the rumors of my untimely move to Milwaukee have not been exagerated. I have until the 30th of June to move out. The largest possession of mine being a futon, I would greatly appreciate help moving from an individual with a large vehicle of some sort. I don't own any couches or tables, so the futon is the only major piece of furniture. Compensation of $50 will be granted to the helpful Samaritan who accepts the challenge. Thanks.
I'd like to shout out a prayer to all patrons and friends of the Tastytronic Diner. May you find your way through the darkest of times, and spread joy far and wide on the brightest of days.
The once inviting Tastytronic Diner is now a tragic place for me, as I'm lucky if I get to post once a month on here. I cannot respond to posts with any speed. I cannot have an interesting discussion with anyone, because of my delay in responding. I feel as if the rigors of the daily grind have consumed me into their vortex. I hope that I will see you all at the festivities in late June -- once I get my act together and nail out the exact day and time of the party, that is.I'd like to thank Raskol for his comments, but like I said earlier, it seems I am on a delayed reaction. I guess this diary entry is my way of letting anyone who cares know that I'm still here, just absent from my traditional BBS ranting.
