Mr BigJ : I dont know about antifreezeing additives used in ICE cooling system. I had never used it before ..all kind of additives i was talking about are used in Chillers (industrial or central) Anyhow if i were U, i would follow the manufacturer recomendations to get the best result specially with German cars, Because any mistake will not just gum the radiator as they say but it may also block the jacket( during engine shutdown period) or reduce the water flow rate through it, which may lead to Engine Lock out.

I think the main differnece between antifreezing additives in cars and chillers is that the ones used in cars are subject to hi temperature which mean that they should have a more stable chemical composition

I have to repair an electric forktruck the only problem i have is that the manfacturer company doesn't exist anymore

Mr BigJ: Yes, any thing in solution will lower the freezing point of it and raise its boiling temperature too, But the Only significant antifreezing additives (commercially used) are:- 1-calcium chloride 2-sodium chloride 3-Ethylene glycol 4-propylene glycol, As you had said before only Ethylene glycol is Toxic ,proplyene glycol is not, as far as i know it is used in making flavor . I have no idea it can be of any harm

Mr insectaturk :Politcs = unquestioned utilization of power, no ethics,no rules,no mercy only benfits....Take great care

Mr BigJ :Ethylene glycol and propylene glycol, are antifreezing additives also Brine solution : Sodium chloride Nacl (just salt) is an antifreezing additive Adding 10% Nacl by mass to water will make it freeze at 20F all these additives are used in industrial Chillers

I have to make a fight with my assitance
