I am a radio DJ!!!

took me a while to get the hang of the program modes on the various cd players, I have a hard time talking with emotion to a wall with a microphone comming out of it, and I have no idea how to pick a smooth and kinetic mix, but It can only get better from here. I had a blast and sneaked a little of my leftist music in there. Soon I'll have the whole of the UP reciting socialist mantras set to funky global beats.

tomorrow I begin my dream life as a radio DJ... Of course it is in a tiny town's highschool radio station. I will probbly have a listenership of one to five, to begin with, I will bring in the whole damn county with my fresh beats from all over the world. ok, there probbably arent ten people up here who care to hear any of the music I will play, but who cares, it's still going to kick ass.

my days in court were long and boring, I'll spare you the details but I think the judge is going to rule in my favor. we'll see.

Gary: I don't know who you are, but I want to be a bee keeper too. I collected honey in Brasil once with a whole bunch of friends, a big bonfire and couple bottles of the most potent alcohol you can imagine... it was a good time. (well, only the most potent alcohol you can imagine if you have ever had absynth, it's the only thing I have ever had stronger than brasilian pinga.)

pedro phil, if that trip isn't canceled as it sounds it may be, let me know, I might be in the area next weeend. I have to go to Two Harobors tomorrow to appear in court... In excess of 50 thousand dollars... I havent had the money to go to the dentist for three and a half years, why the hell is this guy sueing me? Actually, I think no matter what happens, my insurance has to pay all of it. I hope. I was blatantly at fault and the police report says it, I think the only reason the insurance company is bringing it to trial is to contest the guy's injury, maybe it was originally from a old football injury or something. I don't know about the fairness of the jury trial, suposidly he is a local in a small town, I am the outsider... why have it there? Hell, the officer at the scene was admitedly his brothers best friend... I doubt justice will be blind. Really though, I just want him to get his money from my insurance if he really was hurt. I just wish I didn't have to spend three days in court to have it happen. All I can say is that night, my friend had offered a beer... I declined knowing I had to drive home, but when I think of all the times I have driven after one or two beers... that could have been one of them, and if I had not passed the brethalizer, I don't think insurance would have taken care of it all... Makes you want to think twice before getting behind the wheel... in excess of 50 thousand dollars.

bigJ. I am in Ontonagon, MI, in the UP, on the shores of Lake Superior, and the wind is howling off the water tonight... mostly just blowing the little bit of snow we have gotten in the last few days up in to the cold air... It's still beautiful... A nice day for making cookies... my belly is full and my head is swimming with the sugar high.

dex, I am there with you on the vegetarian thing. I really want to be one, but I find unless you want to eat a lot of beans and rice, it's damn expensive to get sufficient amino acids with out eating meat. Luckily I have a direct link to 20 pound shipments of wild game, most of which dip shit trophy hunters would have thrown away if my Brother in law didn't take and then dole out to those who want it... I really am not a fan of hunting, I don't think it's very fair or noble in this day and age, but if it's already dead, it's better I eat it than it goes to waste. About the vegetarian thing though... like I said I would love to be, I know they are out there, but I have never met a vegetarian that looked and acted healty... I guess it must be difficult. Let me know what you find out. Although I am all for the ethical treatment of animals, I am more intersted in the politics of meat, imported and otherwise, and the inefficient use of grain and land.

Misslady, I agree that the knowledge of 2pac lyrics is sad, but do you really think that knowledge of dylan lyrics would be any better?
