yeah, pedro, it's good to begin resurfacing after a long spell in the crazy waters of change. i'll have to tell you the whole story sometime...congratulations on again on your upcoming wedding, and on finding a cool apartment. i'm looking forward to a busy summer o' weddings (for those who might know them, my younger brother Luke is getting married the day before Pedro; and Kevin Peterson is getting married in September).

And thus it continues. I begin to enjoy gainful employment and forge onward in figuring why I want to be useful (so I can better use my want), and also how did I end up in Boston? Most of the parts of the story make sense (a girl), but somehow the whole picture still looks strange. I guess maybe it could be an unfinished work or something that needs to be stared at for a while to make sense out of it.It sure is interesting how much one learns about oneself in the messes that life presents.
Hello to all those I haven't written to in long and short times.
yesterday.It was altogether full of newness. And tough to process it all, especially at the distance. Bits of news for those that are familiar with them: Larry Martin, physics professor died yesterday in North Carolina, from his brain cancer. And Linnea Holmlund just got engaged to a fine man from Pennsylvania. Learning of those two, along with seeing photos of New York from last year's tragedy that were on display here in the city made the day full of things of weight. No hiding from reality, for the moment anyway.
I wish you all well from San Diego. This Academy of Molecular Imaging conference that I'm at, it doesn't really seem to matter much.
