Quick update for those who remember me....

I've now got my Master's degree in Science Filmmaking.
I'm living in Chicago.
I'm working at the Museum of Science and Industry.

I'll definitely check back in soon for a more complete update, and to see what all of you have been doing, but feel free to give a shout in the meantime.

OK, here's a little more info...

The film is finally in production, and I'm cautiously optimistic that I'll be ready to graduate by the end of 2006. Fingers and toes crossed.

I've been self-employed (well, independent consultant is more accurate) for the last year, and I'm starting to turn some heads in the companies I work with.

The current plan is to head to DC in the fall to work in the science documentary field, starting with an internship. Once I officially graduate, we'll see. I'm thinking seriously of moving to Europe for a few years, but that's not concrete yet.

I'd love to hear what you all have been up to. I'm at sbcglobal dot net with my Diner screen name, so please shoot me an email if/when you feel the urge.

Ciao.

Well, I've been gone for far too long. I accidentally clicked one of my bookmarks and it sucked me back into the vortex. Talk about getting hit by a truck!

Sadiegirl, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I've now spent the last two hours browsing around here, trying (vainly) to catch up on some of what I've missed, and I ran accross an old post of Cinnamongirl's in which she talked about the summer of '99, in which we were both RA's in the sweatbox....I mean Burgh. We had a blast that summer, and she was definitely someone who made me stop taking myself so seriously, and I will ALWAYS be grateful. I wish someone was awake at this hour (2am) so I could talk about how I'm feeling right now, but looking over her old posts has helped a lot.

I'll catch people up on what I'm doing, but I can't process it right now.
