I know we've got other entrees to cover politics and elections, but i thought it might be cool to give each major ticket thier own place here at the diner to discuss them exclusivley.... this could turn into a cross-posting quagmire, but the kitchen staff can handle it.

this is probably a very good move on the President's part. The whole "HE WONT ADMIT ANY MISTAKES!" thing has been building and building so much that he'd started to look like a bad leader. Of course, with the political climate these days, the administration had good reason to fear The Sound Bite Factor.

I won't say that invading iraq was a 100% bad thing, i just really really wish that the term "destabalize the region" was at the forefront of the debate two years ago, not oil, WMD, leaving legacies, etc...

just called my house here, normallly i don't answer, cause it's not for me, and in this case, i wasn't going to answer, but then i thought it might be a bush guy, so i did. He gave me about a five second talk about how we all know this election is important and we should all go vote. I was like, well, he's got my support, but i can't speak for my parents . . .in fact, both my brother and I are going to vote for him so we're covered. he was like "well, i guess two out of four isn't bad right?" and I was like "well, not to worry cause my folks aren't going to vote for kerry" then we both broke out in laughter. Now, if i hadn't gotten paid to shell popcorn and go to pizza hut today for work, it would've made my day but, it's a close third.
