The only way I'll eat corn chowder is if it has green chile. Corn chowder without something spicy in it is just corn in milk.

Make it a corn meal and have a good corn bread, not a sweet one, but one made with chives and garnished with a bit of sour cream. Yum.

I've never had it. Corn is not a big food item round here. Generally people eat it when they want to feel American. At least that is my perception. Maybe I'm just being a provincial snot.

I like corn chowder my mom used to make it, and boy was it good! Now I want some, sure it's really just cream corn with onions and stuff, but it's good. I had award winning clam chowder in New Jersey overlooking Manhattan from the south side of the river, it was awesome! Perfectly cooked red potatoes, just the right spiciness, nice fresh clams. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good!
