I am so down. I want to build one, I'm not a very good engineer though I will need help. The actual event is August 9th. the deadline to sing up is May 25 or 27th. You think I shoudl know this. I know everyone has seen ads, but I'm tired of not doing anyhitng about of idleness or fear. I wanna build a flying machine! Any ideas guys? any brave souls?
we could totally enter a tastytronic flying machine! how about a flying pizzaburger?

these are great ideas guess, those of you who know her, Karah will be the pilot, because she is just that insane. We may try to get sponsorship from ed debevic's cause that's where she works, and then we coudl get awesome materials.
you could make something that just looks like a big rock, or an anchor or something of the sorts...maybe somthing with some pontoons so that it's more easily recovered
But I just have too much going on to do much with you... but I wholeheartedly support the idea, and if you did it, I would be there cheering like a madman/woman
the major problem I just realized is that i have no where to house this damn thing during construction. Look's like I am in dire need of a garage. Or some large empty space. I don't think my landlord would be too keen on the idea of a giant hot dog in the storage room...
the flugtag site is right smack dab in the middle of my morning commute. (no, litterally, the bike path goes right through it.)ive been watching the progress of the platform's construction over the last two days, it looks like fun.
on my ride home this afternoon, all the flying machines were out on the grass... i swear to god there was a paper-mache DELORIAN. genius.
