With the Bears having a potentially good season this year I thought it would be good to have a place to talk shop about football.
The Bears hand Favre his first career shutout and break a 233 game scoring streak for the Packers. Does it get any better than that for a Bears fan?I think this could end up being a good year for Chicago football fans, but being a Chicago sports fan I always try to not speak too soon.
but, while being a Bears fan is an inherited trait, I have never actually followed the sport...
apparently it's only a baseball crew around here. anyways the Bears will be crushing the Lions on Sunday at noon and if anyone is looking for someone to watch it with give me a call because I'm down.
SucksThey're a disgrace. I've never been a Pittsburgh fan, and now I remember why.
What SuperBowl championship team gets shut out the second game in?
OK so with the rest of our schedule looking like it is for the season I'm thinking the Bears will go undefeated for the season. I know it's optimistic, but hey I'm a glass is half full kind of guy!
Who wants to get together and watch the game on Sunday?
Where were you thinking of watching it? I'd probably be down for just about whatever.
Tony and Gene are interested as well. I'm going to call Evan and Geoff too. Anyone else you can think of?We could watch it anywhere, Tony said maybe Piece but it will be jammed. I'd be fine just hanging at someone's house to watch. Really all I need is food and beer and I will be happy wherever I watch.
Actually all of the games this weekend were really good, but the best was of course the Bears win.Now it's on to New Orleans next week. We'll see how the warm weather dome team performs in Chicago. If only it was a real Chicago winter this year.
We've got another game on Sunday, I think this time I want to do something a little more low key (aka I'm broke) So, I'm thinking about either watching it at home, or watching it at someone's house. K I think you're the only person looking at this, what're your thoughts?welcome are you feeling better this weekend?
I was thinking about going over to the Wood for the game. I'm not committed or anything, but Lee's buying italian beef, and who doesn't like free italian beef? We'll be in touch over the weekend.
That was a lot of fun to watch. And now the real question, what to do for the Super Bowl? It's funny how xcited I am for a fricken game.
I'll for once probably actually pay attention to the game instead of the usual...12oz curls that I do during the bowl.
low weight high reps right?
hey guys, if anyone's hosting a party for this game, is it alright if i join?
well, the first quarter was fun.
That was a might depressing/disappointing... Nothing like being out-played in every aspect of the game...
but prince rocked!
yeah. i was watching prince play and i almost called you phil.
